Frequently Asked Questions

Do you offer cash refunds off your EZ-Pass Cards?

We offer limited refunding of card balances. Regardless of the card balance, we will refund a maximum of $5.00 in cash. The card balance never expires and you can always load smaller amounts to complete your project. We recommend not overloading your card and always provide a cell phone or email when obtaining the card so that card can be found in our system and restored for you in the case it is lost/stolen or damaged. We do not use your email or cell phone for marketing purposes and we do not sell this information to others. It is used only for your card security.

Where can I check the balance of my EZ-Pass Card?

You can verify your card balance at our in-store kiosks or online at www.laundrycat.com

Do you offer pickup and delivery services?

We do not offer Pickup and delivery services, nor do we offer alteration services, dry cleaning, ironing, specialized cleaning like horse blankets and carpet cleaning. Essentially, we are a self-service laundromat, only partially attended with staff to handle limited drop-off service, maintain equipment and keep our facilities clean.

When can I expect my drop-off project to be completed?

You can expect most projects to be available to you within 48 hours. Although smaller projects can be delivered as soon as the same day. Attendants will provide an estimated time of completion when you drop it off.

How do you charge for drop-off services?

Wash and Fold Services are charged per pound with a 10-pound minimum. When your laundry is presented, the attendant will weigh your project and provide a total price, usually paid in advance. Please call us to obtain our current per/pound charge.

Is there a commercial discount?

We do not currently provide commercial, charity or senior discounts.

Why are your restrooms not available at all times?

Although you may access our restrooms using your EZ-Pass card, you may do so only if we have staff on duty...usually 9am thru 6pm daily (except on holidays). Maintaining safe, clean restrooms is a priority for us. Historically, leaving restrooms totally accessible has created uncomfortable situations with non-customers commandeering the restrooms for illicit purposes that endanger our clientele. We do apologize for situations that inconvenience you in this regard.

What happens if I leave my clothes in your machines?

Occasionally, folks will forget they were using 2 dryers and only unload one when they leave. In such cases, we will remove the items and keep them for you to reclaim. We will hold them for your pickup but after 10 days they will be donated to charity. You also may be charged a fee. For example, we may have to remove your items from a washer, then we dry them before bagging for holding.

In the case where you start a project but wish to run errands, we can provide a washer-to-dryer transfer service for a fee. See attendant for this service.

In cases where a customer starts a washer, leaves and does not return to transfer the load, we may remove those items to make machines available to waiting customers. We cannot accept responsibility for abandoned customer items.
